“The Under Secretary of the Army Patrick Murphy contacted CrossFit and requested that a workout be programmed for the U.S. Army’s birthday.”
Russell Berger, an Army Ranger performs the “1775” workout for the 241st anniversary of the United States Army along with fellow CrossFit HQ staff members Cara Hipskind, Cary Hair, Matt Bischel, Connor Sparkman and Kevin Daigle.
Group WOD times: 8:00am or 6:00pm
“241st U.S. Army’s Birthday WOD:
AMRAP in 60minutes of:
17 Power Cleans 135/95#
75 Air Squats
Unload the barbell and carry it 200 meters away.
Return to the plates and carry one of them to the barbell.
Retrieve the second plate, and carry it forward and reload barbell for the next round.
